Yes, full-CMYK printed covers, or foil blocking on cloth and leather-style covers for the premium corporate look. Supply Pantone references and we'll match as closely as digital printing allows; foil on a plain base reproduces brand colour most precisely. Rule lines and page headers can also print in brand colours at no extra cost.
Hardback is our signature notebook format, case-bound with printed PPC, cloth or leather-style covers, exactly the construction of our hardback book printing. A hardback notebook opens with head & tail bands, an optional ribbon and printed endpapers, with a rigid case that protects the pages during use. It's the format most corporate and retail runs choose; the calculator above lets you compare it with a paperback at the same specification.
Same bindery, different starting point. Journal printing covers guided and structured books, planners, diaries, gratitude and travel journals with designed interior content. Notebook printing is for ruled, dotted, grid or blank writing books, where the cover, branding and paper are the product. If your interior is a designed layout, start on the journal page; if it's a ruling, you're in the right place.
Compare the calculator's 80 or 100gsm opaque and 80, 100 or 120gsm bookwove papers. Resistance to ink bleed and show-through depends on both the paper and the pen, so test a sample with your usual ink before ordering. We do not offer specialist marker-proof or mixed-media stock. Cream and white options let you choose the page colour as well as its weight.
Yes, ribbon markers, head and tail bands and printed endpapers are standard hardback options, and elastic closures are available on case-bound notebooks. These finishing details are usually what separates a retail-grade notebook from a promotional one, and they cost less than most buyers expect at 100+ copies.
Retail notebooks cluster at 160 to 192 pages; corporate notebooks at 128 to 160. Below 96 pages a case-bound book starts to feel thin; higher page counts add bulk and affect the opening. Thread sewing can help opening, but does not make the book completely lay-flat. We'll flag it in the quote if your page count and binding choice fight each other.
Standard production takes 5 to 7 working days for paperbacks and 3 to 4 weeks for hardbacks, from proof approval. Delivery is additional. If you have a deadline, tell us before ordering so we can confirm what is achievable.
