Member handbooks, professional standards, CPD manuals and journals printed to reflect the standing of the institution — consistent, durable and on schedule.
A professional body’s publications carry its authority. The handbook a member consults to confirm a code of conduct, the CPD manual used in training, the journal posted to the membership each quarter — each one reflects the institution’s standing as much as its content does.
We print the full range of publications chartered bodies, learned societies and trade associations actually produce: member handbooks, professional standards, qualification texts, periodical journals and annual reports. Short or medium run, durable binding, a consistent house spec that holds across editions and years. One supplier for every publication the institution needs, with scheduling built around AGMs, conference dates and annual membership cycles.
Annual or periodic handbooks listing membership, governance structures and organisational information — printed to match the institution’s identity and reprintable when editions update.
Reference documents that members and regulators consult repeatedly. Thread-sewn or PUR binding for durability, clear typography, durable cover stock.
Workbooks and course texts for continuing professional development programmes, printed in the quantities each cohort requires — from a single training day to a national roll-out.
Periodical issues posted to the membership on a regular schedule. We print to a consistent house spec so every issue sits uniformly alongside the archive.

Yes. Send us a sample copy or your existing specification — trim size, paper, binding, cover treatment — and we’ll match it so new editions and new titles sit consistently alongside what’s already in members’ hands. Many professional bodies use us as a single supplier across their entire publications programme for exactly this reason.
For a document that’s consulted repeatedly over a number of years, thread-sewn binding is the most durable option — it withstands heavy use without the spine cracking or pages loosening. PUR perfect binding is a strong alternative where a flat, conventional spine is preferred. Both are significantly more durable than standard perfect binding for reference use.
That’s the normal pattern for our professional body clients. We work to the dates you give us — AGM, annual conference, membership renewal cycle — and schedule production accordingly. Get a quote with your target date and we’ll confirm whether the schedule is achievable.
We hold your house spec — paper, binding, cover treatment, trim size — so each issue goes through production on a consistent basis. You supply the updated files per issue and we print to the same standard each time. Colour covers on mono or colour text are both common journal configurations and can be mixed within a single issue at no extra cost.
Yes. We apply your ISBN as a barcode on the cover and offer a free ONIX metadata export for any title entering the book trade or a distributor’s catalogue. Useful for qualification texts and CPD materials that are sold or supplied beyond your direct membership. See pricing and binding options for more detail.
