Thread-sewn is the most durable option for volumes that will be consulted many times over a long cycle. Saddle-stitch suits shorter booklets of up to around 60 pages.
Yes, and there’s no extra charge for doing so. A common arrangement is a mono text body with colour used for section openers, diagrams or brand elements. We handle this routinely — just indicate in your file which pages are colour and which are mono.
