Does getting a quote commit me to an order? +
No. Getting, saving or downloading a quote does not place an order. Your price is based on the specification you enter. When you submit an order, we review the details and email a confirmation within one working day. No payment is taken by this calculator.
Do I need an account to get a quote? +
No account, email address or payment is needed to see your price. Add your book title and publisher details when you are ready to order. Choose Email me this quote if you want a copy sent to you.
Can you quote for a non-standard book size or spec? +
Yes. Choose a standard size or enter custom dimensions up to 320 × 320mm. The calculator checks the available combinations of size, paper and binding. If you need a paper, material or finish that is not listed, contact us with your requirements for a separate quote.
How fast can you print and deliver? +
Standard production takes 5 to 7 working days for paperbacks and 3 to 4 weeks for hardbacks, from proof approval. Delivery is additional. If you have a deadline, tell us before ordering so we can confirm what is achievable.
What is the minimum quantity I can quote for? +
Ten copies for a paperback, twenty-five for a hardback. Compare quantities in the table on Your quote to see the printing total, price per copy and difference against your selected run.
Does the quote include UK delivery and VAT? +
Choose your delivery service in Delivery & proof. Its charge is then included in your quote total alongside book printing and any physical proof. Per-copy comparisons cover printing only. Displayed prices exclude VAT; any applicable VAT and destination surcharges are confirmed with your order.
Can I save a quote and come back to it later? +
Yes. Your progress can be saved in this browser on this device. Choose Email me this quote for an emailed copy and a sign-in link valid for 30 days, or save to your account if you are signed in. Saving does not place an order. Changing a saved specification recalculates its price.
Do my files need to be ready before I get a price? +
No. You can get a quote using an estimated page count and upload files after submitting your order. Update the quote if your final page count or specification changes. Technical file checks are included with printing; cover design and typesetting are separate, optional services.
Do you supply an ISBN or a barcode? +
We do not supply ISBN numbers. If you already have an ISBN, choose Barcode creation in Cover & finish and we can create the barcode for your back cover. Its price is shown with your selected specification.
